Just noticed that my blog may look a little funny if you're using Internet Explorer(the blue "e" icon) as your internet browser. I've been playing around with the template coding, which could very well account for this... I'll fix it soon, needn't you fear-- just not today. (Am... so... tired... fighting corporate pillaging of our world makes one a bit weary-eyed.)
In the meantime, download this: Mozilla Firefox.
Again with the footnotes...
Microsoft is a typical company seeking a monopoly in its field by thriving on evil business practices... systematically sabatoging 'open source'1 software and code, other market competitors, small businesses, elementary schools, and the individual consumer.
Will add more later... just... too... tired... Watch for updates. In the meantime, download Mozilla!
1. Read: collaborative, not-for-profit. Linux and Unix are two examples of 'open source' operating systems, software, email and browsers (Mozilla, Opera, Netscape). Other 'open' movements have long-existed and are thriving on the democratic forum of the web. Open source software is accompanied by 'open publishing' movements (Indymedia and Wikipedia) and other open movements which also culminate under George Soros' 'open society' movement that supports transparency in politics and enacted democratic practices world-wide. These movements value collaboration and cooperation over profit-oriented, highly competitive, and closed systems of government, economics, and information-sharing.
